For trade instructors
Know which students are practicing — before exam day
Pilot VoltExam free with one class this term. Every Monday you get a one-page report showing who is practicing, who has stalled, and who is at a strong practice score.
How the pilot works
Step 1
Send us your roster
Student emails, or have students sign up with the email they gave you.
Step 2
Students study free for the term
Full web access to their trade's question bank with explanations.
Step 3
You get a Monday report
One page, one row per student, with a readiness band and last-active date.
What the weekly report shows
| Band | What it means |
|---|---|
| On track | 5+ practice sessions, last 3 sessions at 80% or higher |
| Practicing | Active in the last 14 days, not yet at that bar |
| Stalled | Has practiced before, but nothing in 14 days |
| Not started | No completed practice session yet |
Each row also shows sessions completed, questions answered, overall and recent practice score, and last active date. Bands describe practice, not a pass prediction.
Questions instructors ask
What does it cost?
The pilot is free for one class for one term. No contract and no card. If it helps, we talk about seats afterwards.
Does the report predict who will pass?
No. It shows practice activity and practice scores. It tells you who to nudge, not who will pass.
Which exams are covered?
43 trades, including electrician, AWS CWI, NCCCO crane, EPA 608, plumbing, CDL Hazmat and more.
What is not in the report yet?
Study done inside the iOS/Android apps, and topic-by-topic weak areas. The report covers web practice sessions.
