VoltExam apps on iOS and Android are a one-time purchase of $99.99. You pay once and keep access forever — no renewal charges, no expiration. Web subscriptions (monthly and yearly plans) are also available at voltexam.com for users who prefer that model. All future app updates are included at no extra cost.
Most VoltExam apps include between 500 and 1,500 practice questions depending on the certification, for a total of 30,000+ questions across all 33 apps. Each app also includes detailed explanations for every answer so you understand the reasoning, not just the right letter.
Yes. All practice questions, study tools, and built-in calculators work completely offline. You can study on a job site, on the road, or anywhere without cell service. The only feature that requires internet is restoring purchases on a new device.
Yes — VoltExam is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). All apps support full offline access on both platforms.
Yes. We review and update our question banks when exam standards or codes change — for example, when a new edition of the NEC is adopted or when the NREMT updates its test plan. Updates are delivered automatically through the App Store at no extra charge.
iOS and Android app purchases are one-time — there is nothing to cancel. If you have a web subscription (monthly or yearly plan from voltexam.com), you can manage or cancel it at voltexam.com/account under Billing. For Apple in-app subscriptions, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Yes. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so you can use the app on any iPhone or iPad signed in with that Apple ID. Just tap Restore Purchases on each new device.
Free accounts on voltexam.com get 12 practice questions per trade — no credit card required. A paid plan ($19.99/month, $49.99/year, or $99.99 lifetime) unlocks unlimited questions across all 32 trades and saves your full study history.
If a payment fails, we'll email you right away and keep your access active for a short grace period while you update your card. Go to voltexam.com/account and click Manage Billing to update your payment method. If the card isn't updated in time, access is paused until the next successful charge — no data is lost.
Sign in at voltexam.com and go to Account. Your recent sessions, best score per trade, and overall progress are all shown there. Study history is tied to your account email, so it follows you across any browser or device.
Yes. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of your first payment, email us at hello@voltexam.com and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After 7 days, we handle refunds case-by-case. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 7 days.
