Terms of Service

Effective date: March 17, 2026

By downloading or using any VoltExam application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Provided “As Is”

Our apps are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work hard to keep content accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that every question, answer, or reference is free from error.

No Guarantee of Exam Results

VoltExam apps are study aids, not crystal balls. We are not responsible for the outcome of any certification exam, licensing test, or evaluation you take. Your results depend on many factors beyond our app, including your prior knowledge, study habits, and the specific exam you sit for.

For Study Purposes Only

All content within our apps — including practice questions, reference tools, and calculators — is intended for educational and study purposes only. It is not a substitute for official training programs, accredited coursework, apprenticeships, or on-the-job experience required by your trade.

Accuracy of Licensing & Exam Information

VoltExam publishes state-by-state licensing requirements, exam fees, NEC editions, and similar regulatory details as a convenience. This information is sourced from publicly available data and may not reflect the most current requirements. Licensing bodies, exam providers, and code editions change without notice. You are solely responsible for verifying current requirements directly with the applicable licensing authority before making any decisions about your license application, exam registration, or career.

No Professional or Field-Use Reliance

The tools and calculators within VoltExam apps — including but not limited to voltage drop calculators, pipe sizing tools, and load calculators — are provided for exam study and educational purposes only. They are not designed, tested, or certified for use in professional engineering, field installation, or any safety-critical application. Do not rely on these tools to make real-world electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other professional decisions. Always consult a licensed professional and refer to applicable code books and official standards for work performed in the field.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VOLTEXAM AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AFFILIATES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR APPS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VOLTEXAM, DEEUN INC., OR ANY OF THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, FAILURE TO OBTAIN OR MAINTAIN A LICENSE, FAILED EXAM RESULTS, OR CAREER HARM — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR APPS OR WEBSITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN ANY CASE, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR APPS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VOLTEXAM (OR TO APPLE ON VOLTEXAM’S BEHALF) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VoltExam, Deeun Inc., and their respective owners, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way related to: (a) your use of our apps or website in violation of these terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) your reliance on app content for professional, field, or safety-critical decisions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our apps shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

In-App Purchases & Refunds

In-app purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies. VoltExam does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. If you need a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the “Report a Problem” feature in your App Store purchase history.

Content & Pricing Updates

We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove app content at any time to reflect changes in exam standards, code revisions, or industry best practices. Pricing for premium features or subscriptions may also change; existing subscribers will be given notice before any price increase takes effect on their renewal.

Intellectual Property

All content in VoltExam apps — including questions, explanations, illustrations, and tools — is owned by VoltExam or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue any app or feature at our discretion. If we discontinue an app entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice to active users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
