About VoltExam

VoltExam is a mobile app publisher that makes trade certification exam prep apps for iOS. The company was founded in 2025 with a focus on tradespeople and licensed professionals who need to pass high-stakes licensing exams to work legally in their field — electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, crane operators, EMTs, drone pilots, and more.

Each VoltExam app bundles two core tools: a large bank of 1,000+ adaptive practice questions calibrated to the specific licensing exam, and a built-in trade calculator relevant to that certification (for example, a voltage drop calculator for electricians, a pipe DFU calculator for plumbers, or a load chart tool for crane operators). This makes VoltExam apps uniquely useful both for exam study and on the job after certification.

All VoltExam apps are available exclusively on the Apple App Store at a one-time price of $17.99, with no subscription and no ongoing fees. Users keep lifetime access to all content and future updates. VoltExam does not run ads in any of its apps.

In addition to its iOS apps, VoltExam operates a free tools hub at voltexam.com/tools with 12 web-based trade calculators — including voltage drop, NEC wire size, Ohm's Law, hazmat placard lookup, crane load ratio, refrigerant charge, Glasgow Coma Scale, OSHA fall clearance, and pool chemical dosing — available free to anyone without an account.
