How many questions are on the NICET Fire Alarm exam?
The NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I exam has approximately 100 multiple-choice questions with a 2-hour time limit. Level II has approximately 115 questions with a 2.5-hour time limit. Both exams are open-book — you can bring NFPA 72 and other reference materials. The passing score is set by NICET using a modified Angoff method and is not publicly disclosed.
