Test results, gauge math, hookups and hazards
Every question is generated and checked by rule, so you never run out. Rounds are 10 questions, scored against the 70% line. These drills sharpen the thinking behind the practical; they do not replace hands-on time with a real test kit and assemblies.

Exam-day checklist
- ASSE 5110 is a 100-question written exam with a 70% pass mark, plus a hands-on practical. State programs set their own format, so confirm yours with the certifying body.
- Bring the test kit and ID your exam notice asks for. Check the gauge calibration date before the practical.
- On the practical, say each step as you do it: flush the test cocks, close shutoff #2, hook up high to low, record every reading.
- Write readings down before you judge them. Most practical failures are a skipped step or a misread gauge, not theory.
