Key Code Sections to Master
The Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) exam covers similar topics to the IPC but with different numbering. Focus on water supply pipe sizing (Table 6-4), drainage fixture units (Table 7-3), venting requirements (Chapter 9), and fixture installation requirements (Chapter 4). The UPC is generally considered stricter on venting requirements than the IPC.
